About the Author
Hi, I’m Rik Danielsen. There’s no reason you should have heard of me so I want to introduce myself. I gave
my life to Christ in 1969 and sensed God’s call to serve him as a pastor in 1971. I was ordained to the ministry in
1973 and have been serving churches in Arizona and California since then. Over the years I have discovered that my primary
spiritual gifts are in the areas of preaching and teaching the Bible. As an extension of my teaching ministry I have been
writing for a number of years. I have had articles published in magazines like proclaim! magazine, Church Administration magazine,
Growing Churches magazine, Focus on
the Family’s Pastor’s Family magazine and Leader
Life magazine.
In addition to my pastoral
and writing ministry, the Lord led me to be involved in teaching at the college level. I was an Adjunct Professor in the Religious
Studies Department at Mesa Community College (Mesa, AZ) for four and a half years. This gave me opportunities to get to know
and minister to college students.
My educational background
includes a Bachelors degree in religion from Grand Canyon College, a Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological
Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity Theological Seminary.
My wife and I have been
married since 1976 and have two adult children we are very proud of.
